This series originates from my experience as a textile designer and my interest in repetition, rhythm, and stripe structures. Drawing from the visual language of textiles, I translate these elements into abstract monoprints.
Inspired by the shifting reflections of light on the water’s surface, I combine brushstrokes with bleeding ink to evoke the constantly changing appearance of water. The horizontal bands suggest waves and reflected light, while layered marks and accidental traces capture the flickering, transient qualities of reflections moving across the surface.
The coexistence of structured forms and fluid, unpredictable elements creates a visual space where stillness and movement, order and chance, intersect.
